No unsupervised posting. Every draft goes through your approval before anything leaves the building. Syndraft produces; you decide. On Growth and Full, approval can trigger delivery to connected outlets. On Core, you get formatted copy ready to publish yourself.

How does the approval flow work?

Drafts land in your queue dashboard (and approval cards in Slack when connected). You read the draft, the rationale behind it, and any confidence flags the agent has raised. You can approve it (formatted copy appears; Growth/Full may also deliver), request a revision with inline notes, or reject it. Revision cycles are tracked up to 3 rounds. After that the item is escalated for your direct decision.

What does onboarding look like?

By the time you flip the switch, real drafts are already waiting.

Can I control the agent's voice and tone?

Yes, in two ways. First, the persona prompt (set during onboarding and editable any time in Settings) defines the agent's voice, perspective, and avoid list. Second, standing instructions (a plain textarea in Settings) are injected into every single agent run. If a pattern of edits keeps coming up, write it as a standing instruction once and the agent adapts immediately. No retraining, no support ticket.

Can I add more sources after onboarding?

Yes. Knowledge sources, community platforms, and news feeds can all be added, removed, and revalidated from the Settings page at any time. Each new source is validated immediately via a health check (green, yellow, or red) before it's saved.

Syndraft is scoped to public docs and community channels only. It never touches customer data, internal databases, private repos, or support tickets. The knowledge base is built from the docs platforms and feeds you connect — nothing else.

What types of content does it draft?

Accepted Answer

Technical tutorials, code samples, documentation pages, growth experiment proposals, community roundups, quick tips, and short-form social content. On Growth and Full, comparison and FAQ-style pieces shaped for AI search are available too. The planner selects formats based on your cadence, what the community is asking about, and what you have historically approved quickly.

Our blog has over 1,000 posts. Will the agent re-cover old content?

No, if you add your sitemap URL. The agent indexes your sitemap at onboarding, maps your existing coverage, and uses that to identify gaps: topics the community keeps asking about that you haven't covered, or that haven't been touched in a long time. It won't draft a post on a topic you've written thoroughly about unless there's a significant new development.

Syndraft watches recurring community questions and friction signals, then checks whether your existing docs already answer them. When the gap is clear, it proposes a draft — with links to the threads that motivated it — and waits for your approval. A dashboard metric showing how often your current docs already answer the questions builders are asking in community channels. It helps you see whether documentation investment is working — and tracks approved documentation fixes each week.

Yes, when you provide an API reference URL. Before you approve a code sample or docs page, Syndraft checks fenced snippets against that reference so examples match your real endpoints — without calling your live API.

Which community platforms does it monitor?

Discord, GitHub, and Slack community workspaces. We read signals only through the bot/app you install. For Slack, connect via OAuth. For Discord and GitHub, install the bot/app and provide an invite or repo URL for identity matching. Those URLs are not scrape targets.

How does the community reply flow work?

Accepted Answer

The agent scans your connected community channels for high-signal threads (questions, friction points, feature requests) and drafts a reply for each one that scores above the relevance threshold. These land in your queue as a batch. You review and approve the ones that are accurate and on-brand. After approval, replies can be delivered to the connected channel (or you copy the formatted reply yourself).

Every Monday the planner agent generates a task list for the week: which topics to draft, in which format, with a rationale for each. This lands in your Plans page with an in-app notification.
